The LunaScript RT SuperMix contains random hexamer and poly-dT primers, allowing even coverage across the length of the RNA targets. In addition, the LunaScript RT SuperMix Kit contains a blue dye, providing a visual indicator that can be followed throughout the two-step RT-qPCR process. The LunaScript RT SuperMix offers robust, linear, and sensitive detection using total RNA inputs as high as 1 µg and as low as single copies of RNA.

LAMDA BIOTECH INC HotStart PCR 2x Master Mix in Red
Ready-to-use 2X hot start PCR master mix in green color, containing a HotStart Taq DNA polymerase and a PCR enhancing DNA polymerase. Users only need to add template, primers and H2O for the reaction. The HotStart PCR Master Mix contains inert, non-toxic dyes to make the color in green, which makes it easy to visualize the PCR mixing step, and also allows direct loading of PCR products for electrophoresis. The HotStart Taq DNA Polymerase is a chemically modified Taq DNA Polymerase, whose enzyme activities can only be activated after 3-5 minutes of incubation at 95° C. The HotStart Taq Polymerase uses amplification conditions for regular Taq DNA Polymerase, except no polymerase activity will be present before the onset of thermal cycling. This prevents nonspecific DNA amplification and primer dimer formation. The amplified products, up to 7Kb in length, contain PCR products with blunt end and 3’-overhanging A end.

Bst-XT WarmStart™ DNA Polymerase is an engineered variant of Bacillus stearothermophilus DNA Polymerase, Large Fragment fused to a novel nucleic acid binding domain for improved isothermal amplification performance and increased reverse transcription activity. This enzyme combines the polymerization speed of Bst 3.0 and the high specificity of Bst 2.0 DNA polymerases. Bst-XT WarmStart DNA Polymerase contains a reversibly bound aptamer, which inhibits polymerase activity at room temperature. The aptamer rapidly releases above 45°C, therefore no separate activation step is needed. Bst-XT WarmStart DNA Polymerase contains 5' to 3' DNA polymerase activity with either DNA or RNA templates and strong strand displacement activity, but lacks 5' to 3' and 3' to 5' exonuclease activity.

OneTaq Hot Start Quick-Load 2X Master Mix with GC Buffer is an optimized, ready-to-use blend of Taq and Deep Vent DNA Polymerases combined with an aptamer-based inhibitor. This enzyme blend is ideally suited to PCR applications from GC-rich templates, including pure DNA solutions, bacterial colonies, and cDNA products. The 3' to 5' exonuclease activity of Deep Vent DNA Polymerase increases the fidelity and robust amplification of Taq DNA Polymerase. The hot start nature of the enzyme offers convenience with decreased interference from primer dimers and secondary products. The convenient master mix formulation contains dNTPs, MgSO4, buffer components and stabilizers as well as two commonly used tracking dyes for DNA gels. On a 1% agarose gel in 1X TBE, Xylene Cyanol FF migrates at ~4 kb and Tartrazine migrates at ~10 bp. Both dyes are present in concentrations that do not mask co-migrating DNA bands.
